First iterations of the game are still in development.

We have made changes to our deck size, going with 67 now instead of 61. We will have 25 lint cards that will have no effect and must be discarded. The game will consist of 5 rounds. In each round, you will create a set of three of the same color to make a match. After you make a set of 3 cards with the same color, the round is over and you will move to the next round. If you did not make a match that round, then you must remain on the same round until you make a match. You cannot create the same match in separate rounds, so each round will get progressively harder by limiting the matches you can make. The first person to make 5 different matches through the 5 rounds of the game will win.

Our main update this week is for art. We now have a baseline for all of our cards with sketches for placement of graphics, text, and titles. We decided to limit the number of cards as you progress through the 5 rounds, having more cards in the 1st round than in the 5th, so it makes it more challenging to complete sets. The playtest for our second prototype went okay. The feedback we received was more impactful and helpful to get some gameplay kinks out. The players had little to no confusion about the rules of the game. The players made suggestions about adding wild-card attributes to the Lint Cards to add more strategy to the cards you discard/pick up. There were also concerns with the number of lint cards compared to the number of regular cards. All participants were given a survey after the playtest concluded, the questions were: "What's a rule or suggestion you have?" "How difficult was the game?" "Thoughts on the art style?" and "Anything that confused you during the game?". The results of the surveys are listed in the folder below.
